Prompt: Why did you start blogging/writing online?
Long before I began writing to be professionally published, I wrote X-Files fanfic. For a while I was putting to email lists only. I eventually put up a website with my fanfic. From there, I moved over to LiveJournal. I was there for a good while until it was purchased by SUP. The moment they changed their Terms of Service to something I couldn’t read, I left.
If I remember correctly, there was some overlap between my LiveJournal and my blog here. I meant it to focus on my writing, but I may bring in more personal posts given the fiasco that has happened at the bird site. I am a firm believer in having a space online that you control for you to speak from. So this is why my blog will always be one of the best places to find out what’s going on.
